Meeting with the UN Assistant Secretary-General for the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific

On March 2, 2023, the Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the UN Ambassador Aksoltan Ataeva met with the UN Assistant Secretary-General for the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific Mr.Mohamed Khaled.

During the meeting, the prospects for expanding cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UN structures on the issues of strengthening peace and security in Central Asia and at the global level were discussed.

In this regard, a high assessment was expressed of the neutral foreign policy of Turkmenistan and the initiatives put forward by the country within the United Nations aimed at maintaining and promoting peaceful and trusting international relations.
