United Nations Officially Publishes Resolution 80/3 “Awaza Political Declaration”

The United Nations has officially published the General Assembly resolution 80/3 “Awaza Political Declaration” in all six official UN languages as a document of the 80th session of the General Assembly.

The resolution reflects the outcomes of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3), held in Awaza, Turkmenistan, and affirms the collective commitment of Member States to advancing sustainable development, transport and transit connectivity, and the resilience of LLDCs over the coming decade.

The publication of the resolution in all official UN languages - Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish - represents an important step in raising global awareness and strengthening support for the Awaza Political Declaration as a guiding framework for international cooperation.

Turkmenistan, as the host country of LLDC3, reaffirms its dedication to strengthening multilateral dialogue, developing transport and transit infrastructure, and contributing to the implementation of the Awaza Programme of Action (2024–2034).

The Permanent Mission encourages all partners and stakeholders to actively engage in advancing the provisions of resolution 80/3 and to continue supporting the efforts of landlocked developing countries aimed at achieving sustainable and inclusive development.
