Advancing Peace and Trust through Multilateral Engagement: Outcome Documents of International Forums Circulated at the United Nations
Outcome documents of two international events held with the participation of Turkmenistan have been published and circulated as official documents of the United Nations General Assembly and the United Nations Security Council during the 80th session. The Outcome Document of the International Conference “The Role of Women in Modern Society: Development of International Cooperation for Sustainable Development” reflects discussions on enhancing international cooperation, advancing gender equality and supporting sustainable development, including through the contribution of women to social, economic and public life. The document addresses approaches aimed at strengthening inclusive participation and cooperation at the international level.
In addition, the Ashgabat Declaration of the International Forum of Peace and Trust, convened in the context of the International Year of Peace and Trust (2025), the International Day of Neutrality and the 30th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan, outlines perspectives focused on dialogue, mutual understanding and trust, as well as the role of neutrality in promoting peace and stability in international relations.
The circulation of these texts as official United Nations documents ensures their availability to Member States and the United Nations system and facilitates their use as reference materials in ongoing multilateral discussions on peace, trust and sustainable development.
