MEETING OF THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY OF TURKMENISTAN AND THE STATE OF QATAR

Today, on the 12th of April 2021, an online meeting was held between the heads and representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the State of Qatar.

The Turkmen delegation was headed by the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan D.Rejepov, while the Qatar side was led by the First Vice Chairman of the Qatar Chamber Mohamed bin Ahmed Al Kuwari.  The meeting was also attended by the representatives of state and private sectors of two countries specializing in the area of energy, trade, textile and food industry, construction, agriculture, and others. 

The delegations of the two countries expressed interest in the development of trade and economic ties between Turkmenistan and the State of Qatar.  The participants were acquainted with the presentations of various business structures with a detailed description of their functions.  In addition, the opportunities of expanding the partnership in the field of industry, energy, transport, and communication with the use of digital technologies and port infrastructure were considered.
