AMBASSADOR OF THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN COMPLETES HIS DIPLOMATIC MISSION IN TURKMENISTAN

On 16 December 2019, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan there was a farewell meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkmenistan Sayed Mohammad Akhmadi, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan.

The Turkmen side congratulated Mr. Ambassador on the successful completion of his mission. The parties also exchanged views on the current state of relations between the two countries. Issues of further intensification of cooperation in different spheres between Turkmenistan and the neighboring Islamic Republic of Iran were also discussed.

Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran noted the active cooperation of two states, the basis of which is the common borders between the countries. Sayed Mohammad Akhmadi also expressed his sincere gratitude to the Turkmen side for the active attention and support rendered to the Embassy.

In turn, the Turkmen side thanked the Ambassador for his significant contribution to the comprehensive development of the traditional cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran and expressed wishes for success in his future activities.
