TELEPHONE CONVERSATION BETWEEN THE PRESIDENTS OF TURKMENISTAN AND REPUBLIC OF TURKEY
On July 31, 2020, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Warmly greeting each other, the leaders of two states exchange congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of Eid al Adha.
During the conversation, the sides have noted with satisfaction that Turkmen – Turkish friendly relations receive new content at the present time and implementation of joint projects contributes to the strengthening of interstate dialog.
The Leader of the Nation said that Turkey is one of the countries, with which Turkmenistan successfully develops trade and economic relations, having focused attention on the importance of using the significant potential for expansion of productive relations in this direction and rendering corresponding assistance to each other when it is necessary.
Having confirmed the commitment of two countries to unbreakable fraternal relations, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan noted that all efforts would be applied for further strengthening of interstate relations.
During the telephone conversation in the light of the current issues of regional and global agenda, the sides touched upon the topic of the coronavirus pandemic.
In this regard, the Turkmen leader confirmed the invariable readiness of our country for broad cooperation in the development of new methods in this direction.
At the end of the conversation, Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan exchanged congratulations on Eid Al Adha, having wished health, happiness, and success to each other and peace and prosperity to people of two countries.
