THE TURKMEN SIDE TOOK PART IN THE PRESENTATION OF THE IMF REPORT

On April 28, 2020, the online-presentation of the International Monetary Fund’s report entitled “Development Perspectives of Regional Economy” for the countries of Central Asia and the Caucasus was held in the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan.    

During the videoconferencing, it was particularly noted that the strengthening of mutually beneficial partnership and expansion of many-sided mutual aid between the world countries gains greater relevance and significance in the current conditions of world order.

In the presented review, the key tendencies are analyzed, as well as the development perspectives of the economies of Central Asia and the Caucasus observed.    

As it was noted, large-scale work is implemented in Turkmenistan with the aim of reducing the negative impacts of the global crisis on the development of the state economy.  The events taking place are intended to yield positive indicators in all the sectors of the national economy.
