TELEPHONE CONVERSATION BETWEEN THE MINISTERS OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF TURKMENISTAN AND THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

On April 22, 2020, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan R.Meredov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan A.Kamilov. 

During the conversation, Ministers discussed the current issues of bilateral cooperation and the perspectives for its further development in political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.   

The need to intensify cooperation in the area of transport was noted.  Also, an exchange of views took place regarding trans-border collaboration, transit-transport communication.   

Besides, it was agreed during the talk to continue regular consultations between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs.
