TURKMENISTAN AND SERBIA INTENSIFY MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL COOPERATION

Today, on June 7, an online meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nikola Selakovic was held.

During the meeting, a constructive exchange of views took place on key issues of bilateral and international agendas. The mutual strive of the parties to further development of Turkmen-Serbian interaction on all vectors posing mutual interest was underlined. 

In this respect, the intention of the two countries to expand close cooperation in political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and humanitarian fields was emphasized.

The necessity of activating the contacts among the MFAs of the two countries was stated.  The parties agreed to carry out work on the development of the legal-contractual base of collaboration.

It was underlined that Turkmenistan and Serbia actively cooperate on international platforms.  The positive experience of mutual support of the candidacies of two countries in the framework of respected international organizations was underlined.
