THE MEETING OF THE MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF TURKMENISTAN WITH THE MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA

On July 15, 2021, a meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredow with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Faysal bin Farhan Al-Saud was held in Tashkent.

During the talk, the sides highly evaluated the level of interstate ties which are consistently strengthened on the basis of trustful and regular dialogue on the highest level.

They discussed key aspects of the Turkmen-Saudi agenda in political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

The parties confirmed their interest in the development of trade-economic and investment ties.

Diplomats underlined the significance of strengthening the cooperation in multi-sided structures of regional and international levels. It was especially stressed that Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are in favor of promoting peace, stability, and economic growth in the region and beyond.
