THE PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN HELD A MEETING WITH THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

Today, on August 6, in the city of Turkmenbashi, within the framework of the regular Consultative meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, bilateral negotiations were held between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The heads of the two countries discussed priority issues of bilateral Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation, where there is solid potential for mutual implementation in the field of political, diplomatic, and trade and economic interaction.

The presidents also exchanged views on pressing issues of the regional and international agenda.
