PRESIDENTS OF TURKMENISTAN AND TAJIKISTAN IN "AVAZ" DISCUSSED THE PRIORITIES OF DEVELOPMENT OF TURKMEN-TAJIK COOPERATION

On August 6, 2021, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in the Avaza NTZ within the framework of the regular Consultative meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States.

During the talks, the parties' interest in the further development of Turkmen-Tajik relations in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres was reaffirmed.

They also exchanged views on key aspects of regional and international cooperation between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.
