PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN IN "AVAZ" MET WITH THE HEAD OF UNRCCA

On August 6, 2021, in the city of Turkmenbashi, within the framework of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Central Asia, Head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia Natalia German.

During the constructive conversation, the importance of holding the current Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State was emphasized, which became a kind of platform for discussion and decision-making on key aspects of the development of political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian interaction between the countries of the region.

During the meeting, the current and promising areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia were discussed in the light of the recently adopted UN General Assembly resolution presented by Turkmenistan entitled “Strengthening ties between all modes of transport to ensure stable and reliable international transport for sustainable development. during and after the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic ”.
