Turkmen-Ukrainian consultations in New York

On 8 June 2021, Aksoltan Ataeva, Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the UN held a virtual working meeting with Sergiy Kislytsya, Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN.

At the outset, the Permanent Representatives noted the high level of bilateral relations and mutually beneficial cooperation in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

During the meeting, they discussed a wide range of topics on cooperation between Turkmenistan and Ukraine on various UN platforms. They emphasized the need to intensify the activity between the countries within the framework of the UN in the areas of youth, culture, and sports.

This dialogue becomes a part of series of meetings between the foreign offices and it gives the possibility to outline the directions for future cooperation between two Missions in New York.
